I always thought match making was a bad thing, n you don't have a choice to choose ur groom/bride, well since my dear fren has educated me on what needs to be done :)

Usually parents will go find a partner, by asking frenz/relatives then the groom will ask for the picture, if he likes her then he will procede with "Jardegem" - something like horoscopes, there are 10 stars, the groom will ask for her "Jardegem" n take it to the temple priest to check if both the bride n groom's "Jardegem" match, the more stars that match the better the chances.Once thats done, it's time for them to meet. If the bride don't find him....err "acceptable" then she can call the match making off.

See its not that bad....:D but i wouldn't do it though hehe
